Our Proposals
We want to build a high-quality development that provides new homes, public open space, play spaces, and improved connections for walking and cycling.
Our application will include the following:
- Up to 165 new homes, of which 30% will be affordable homes
- A trim trail along recreational routes to promote healthy and active lifestyles
- A dedicated area for biodiversity enhancements to achieve a minimum 10% net gain in biodiversity value
- New open spaces, including green corridors and equipped play areas
- Car and cycle parking for new residents
- A new drop-off/pick-up car park for Brooke Hill Academy, accommodating circa 20 spaces to help reduce the impact of parking during school drop-off and pick-up times
- New off-road parking bays for existing residents of Brooke Road
- A new sustainable drainage system to control and improve the flow of surface water run-off during periods of heavy and persistent rainfall, as well as providing ecological benefits
Our proposed masterplan creates a strong landscape-led design approach, which follows good urban design principles while respecting local context and character.
